So the site has been live for a little while now, I just wanted to write a quick post to explain what this is. 90% of most new businesses fail. Pears Avenue is a little bit different from my previous ventures, because Pears isn’t itself a company focused on profit. Pears is my holding company. It holds the LLC that I use to do consulting, alongside developing all the IP I create and license off to companies whose goal is to make money.
I don’t have an exit strategy here. I’m in it for the long haul. It’s a lot like planting an oak tree. Yeah, it’ll be small for a good long while, but after enough time, the oak tree will eventually become a full size tree. Think about every big corpo you know. It took them decades to get where they’re at.
Anyways, I’ll have a more technical post tomorrow now that the pipeline is built.
